Stuben, the small village rising just before the climb to the Arlberg Pass, is also known as ‘the Emperor’s biggest Stube’ (Stube is a traditional Austrian common room). In fact, emperors and popes, princes and merchants, pilgrims and vagabonds, hemmers and wagoners appreciated Stuben as a rest station. It acted as a shelter protecting them from avalanches and storms.
Similarily, the “Gasthaus zur Alten Post” was a beloved guesthouse in Stuben, and has been part of the area for centuries. Today the former coaching inn is run by the Brändle family. BOOKING CONDITIONS
Your order is considered a firm reservation upon receipt of our written confirmation of reservation and upon receipt of your advance payment of 30% of the total tour price per room within 14 days. No interest will be paid on advance payments. We kindly ask you to transfer the amount to our account free of charge or to provide us with your credit card details. In case of cancellation of the reservation, the deposit will be used to pay the cancellation costs. We therefore recommend that you take out travel cancellation and holiday cover to cover any cancellation costs.
DEPTH GARAGE
We are happy to offer a paid parking space for your car in our underground garage. The number of spaces is limited. Please mention this when making your reservation.
KNOWLEDGE
The indicated booking dates are binding. The reserved rooms will be kept free until 18.00 hrs on the day of arrival. If you arrive later, please let us know. In case of later arrival or earlier departure, the room rate will be charged. It is not possible to commit to a specific floor or room number.
Please take this into account when making your travel plans: Rooms are ready for occupancy from 3.30 p.m. at the earliest on the day of arrival, room release by 11.00 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure. The General Terms and Conditions for APRES POST HOTEL GMBH (GTC) apply.
