Also in summer, the modern Kornockbahn 6-seater chairlift takes visitors swiftly and safely from Turracher Höhe village up to the top at an altitude of 2,205 m/7,234 ft.
Kornock summit provides stunning panoramic views of the Nockberge Mountains on clear days visibiliy extends as far as the Karawanken mountain range and the Julian Alps in the south, the Hohen Tauern range in the west and the Dachstein massive in the north.
The ideal starting point for various hiking tours into the Nockberge mountains.
