The Explorer Hotels are the first certified passive house hotels in Europe. An Explorer Hotel produces only 10% of the CO² emissions of a conventionally built hotel of the same size. But that's not all: the hotel also focuses on regionality when it comes to sports partners, group activities and suppliers. The hotel has deliberately decided not to have its own large restaurant in order to support the local infrastructure. E-charging stations are available in the underground car park and the breakfast buffet deliberately avoids small packaging to reduce waste. It's more fun to draw from the full anyway.
