Pension Seighof

The Seighof is a family-run 3-star guesthouse in a quiet, secluded setting between Saalbach and Hinterglemm. Over 660 years of history hang on our walls — quite literally.

Ski right to our doorstep
When snow conditions allow, you can ski all the way down to us via the blue piste 34a or the "Westernstadel" ski route. In the morning, our free house taxi gets you to the nearest lift in a 3-minute drive, and in the afternoon we pick you up again — even on days when the house run isn't skiable. The nearest ski bus stop is just 150 m away. And right on our doorstep: the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn with 270 km of pistes and 70 lifts.

Half board included
In winter, half board is included in all rooms. Your day starts with our "Entdecker-Frühstück" — an explorer's breakfast with house-smoked bacon from our chef Stanko, homemade jams, organic honey from Hinterglemm, fresh bread from Bäckerei Katschner and an open cooking station where you make your own eggs and waffles. In the evening, a varied multi-course menu — new every day, never repeated.

Our heart and soul: a lounge built from the reclaimed timber of a dismantled hay barn, with the Seighof tree at its centre and a self-service bar open around the clock — including our own spring water from the Bernkogel. A place to linger and discover.

History you can touch
From the ground floor all the way up to the third, you'll find tools, pictures and antiques on the walls — each with a QR code that reveals its "how and why". Add to that our house chapel, a listed monument since 1999. You get a real insight into work and life on a mountain farm.

For grown-ups and little ones
Sauna temple with Finnish sauna, steam bath and Sway relaxation lounger. Children's playroom with table tennis. Ski and boot room with heated boot dryer. WiFi throughout the house, EV charging station, panoramic mountain views from most rooms — and dogs are warmly welcome.

Sustainable, because it matters to us
Certified with the Austrian Ecolabel and the EU Ecolabel. We heat with wood chips from our own forest, use solar energy, clean our rooms chemical-free with steam, and serve our own spring water instead of plastic bottles.

Peacefully tucked away — yet right in the middle of it all
Surrounded by nature, no through traffic, with deer outside your window. Restaurants and après-ski in Saalbach or Hinterglemm are just a few minutes away by car or ski bus.

The Seighof is our life — and that's no exaggeration! We furnish it with love for detail, take our guests' suggestions to heart, and do everything we can to give you a truly relaxed holiday. We love exploring the best of our region ourselves, trying out all sorts of things — the possible and the impossible — so we can tell you about them first-hand.
