What began as a small, cosy woodland guesthouse has grown into Hotel Gassner – along with our very own Gassner Treehouse. As a true family business, we bring a generous helping of warmth, charm and life into our home together with our wonderful Gassner team. Perhaps that's exactly why so much of what you'll find here has its very own, individual character.

Still waters and soothing warmth. Sweet idleness and mindful presence. In our Crystal & Garden SPA spanning over 1,200 m², you'll discover your own personal favourite spot – different every time. An indoor colour-light pool, the natural "Bergsee" mountain pool, a salt sauna, panoramic outdoor sauna, bio sauna with the scent of pine, crystal steam bath, Swiss stone pine sauna, ice fountain, infrared loungers and relaxation rooms all invite you to simply let go. Families will love the dress-on sauna and the family relaxation room with water beds – for genuinely relaxed hours together.

Sometimes hearty and traditional, sometimes freshly reimagined – always served with a smile, whether in our stylish restaurant or on the sunny terrace. At Hotel Gassner, cuisine is a personal matter: hotel owner Hans-Peter, head chef Gregor and their team pour their heart into every meal, every single day. Morning, evening – and whenever a little hunger strikes in between.

A truly special highlight is the luxury Treehouse, set in its own secluded spot – 147 dreamy square metres nestled among the treetops, with a direct view of the mountains. Across two floors you'll find a bedroom with a freestanding bathtub, a cosy living area for relaxed evenings together, and a generous wooden terrace with loungers and snuggly blankets – perfect for starlit nights.

Your Winter Escape in the Wildkogel-Arena

The Wildkogel-Arena is one of the most family-friendly ski areas in the Salzburg region – and it starts right at your hotel door. Whether you're carving through fresh powder, taking your first turns on the baby lift right outside the hotel, or gliding all the way back down to the house: winter here is yours to enjoy. The nearby Zillertal Arena and KitzSki ski resort are also just a short trip away.

Sledging on our very own Kühnreit run – or along the longest illuminated toboggan run in the world – is the kind of joy that stays with you. Afterwards, warm up in a cosy mountain hut and let the good feeling linger. Snowshoeing, winter hiking, cross-country skiing, ski touring, ice skating and curling round off your winter holiday beautifully. With the gentle Kitzbühel Alps at your back and the breathtaking Hohe Tauern National Park in view, the most wonderful mountain memories are made right here.
