Jamtal lodge

From the village square in Galtür follow the hiking trail past the hotel 'Gasthof zum Rössle', cross the bridge then head right into Jamtal. From there you get to the Egg, Menta Alm (managed Alpine lodge), Alpele, Schnapfen Alpe to Scheiben Alpe (managed Alpine lodge around 1 ½ hours.). From Scheiben Alpe head into the valey following the road to Jamtalhütte. From the lodge there is a superb view to theJamtal glacier which is a cosy place to stop-off for refreshments and where you are invited to have a break. There is also the opportunity to sample specialities from the pleasure region of Paznaun. Return section: Same route for the returnleg.
