The Freibacher reservoir is located in Zell-Homölisch, surrounded by unspoiled nature. The crystal-clear water not only attracts bathers, but also offers windsurfers and divers the best "water fun".

Word has long been around among initiated fishermen that the trout waters (brook trout, rain trout, lake trout as well as grayling and char) are good for excellent catches. Fishing permits and boats are available directly at the reservoir at the Gasthof Kaiser (reservoir innkeeper).

Chilled drinks and snacks are also well catered for at the beach buffet.
