In summer, hikes and mountain bike tours can be started directly from the house. The nearby towns such as Hallstatt, Bad Goisern, the cultural capital Bad Ischl and Obertraun can also be reached within 30 minutes by car. Our tip: be sure to visit the salt worlds in Hallstatt and the giant ice cave on the Krippenstein in Obertraun.

In winter, the Dachstein West ski area awaits you with 160 km of groomed pistes and wonderful views of the Dachstein mountains. The ski area can be reached within a few minutes by car or you can use the free ski bus directly in front of the house. The cross-country ski trails are just a few minutes' walk away and stretch through the entire Gosau Valley.
