The Filzmoos ski area is family-friendly, manageable and guaranteed not too crowded, the children's ski school and the practice area are the best in the region. The landlords on the mountain and the hosts in the valley are down-to-earth and extremely hospitable. A perfect network of cross-country ski trails, hiking trails and bike trails opens up the extensive alpine valley with its numerous side valleys.
Off-piste skiers and ski tourers can enjoy a wide range of routes with a breathtaking panorama of the Dachstein massif. The horse-drawn sleigh rides to rustic Alpine pastures with views of the legendary Bischofsmütze are a special highlight for families.
