Bernd, Hanna’s beloved, is a passionate chef – or rather, a heart-and-soul chef. A virtuoso of his trade, a champion of local ingredients, a lover of good taste, dancing with aromas and inspiring food lovers to dream.

In 2024, Bernd once again earned 13.5 points and 2 Gault Millau toques – just 0.5 points short of a third toque, nearly reaching the culinary Olympus. But while his cuisine is at the highest level, Bernd himself remains firmly grounded. A chef who celebrates his principles: freshness, regionality, and sustainability, who reinvents classics with innovation, and honors the new and creative with style and taste.
