There’s a special cross-country attraction in Scheffau: 1.2 km of the 3.8 km long Sonnenloipe has artificial snow and is illuminated in the evening once a week on Wednesday until 21.30 hrs. An atmospheric night run gives you the chance to enjoy a winter evening in a very different way! The access point to this slope is behind the Hotel Kaiserlodge or from the parking lot at the community hall. The trail is groomed for classic cross-country skiing and skating.
Heading from Wörgl, Kufstein or St. Johann on the B178 road, take the exit to Scheffau. Turn left immediately after the church, then drive past the Genussladl gourmet shop (located on the right-hand side) and keep going until you reach the public car park.
