Description

Beautifully situated in the edge of the woods at the world-famous slope WM Herrenstrecke is Chalet Planai. Here, in approximately 1000 meters altitude, there is a view of the beautiful mountains at Dachstein.

During the summertime there are also plenty of opportunity to explore the area and a variety of activities to choose from. Here are great possibilities for hiking, as well as perfect conditions for mountain biking, where the route is right outside the door. The lift system also runs during the summer.

Features

Chalet Planai is built in 4 levels. The main house is located on the upper 3 levels and apartment 1 & 2 is located on the lowest level of the house. With a total of more than 850 square meters, it's very suitable for groups or families sharing the house.

Location

Chalet Planai is located in the middle of the famous 4-mountain area Hauser Kaibling-Planai-Hochwurzen-Reiteralm.

If you want to go to the area in Flachau and Wagrain, it is a good half hour drive. In the summertime there are walks right outside the door, and there is a path down to the cozy town of Schladming. It takes about 20 minutes to go down to the city where there is plenty of life and a nice pedestrian street.

Mountainbiking possibilities are also just outside the door with routes on the summer-open slope Planai. Here are also great mountain routes for cyclists – although, the last part of the road down to the house is sandy.

For golf enthusiasts there are also nice conditions on some of the most beautiful golf courses in Austria: the 18-hole course Dachstein Tauern Golf Club, the 18-hole course Schloss Pichlarn Golf Club, and a 10-hole course called Kobaldhof's Natural Golf Course.

Other activities include Mountain Go Kart, Segway, Go Karting, Paragliding, Zipline, Rafting, Rock Climbing, Panoramic at Dachstein Gletscher.
