Naturfreunde Training and Climbing Center Weichtalhaus
The Weichtalhaus (653 m) is located in the Höllental valley between Rax and Schneeberg. The three-story hut is used, among other things, as a training and climbing center for the Vienna Nature Friends. The Weichtalhaus is the starting point for over 2,000 routes in the middle of Austria's largest climbing area. Its location near the left bank of the Schwarza in the Höllental valley, at the entrance to the Weichtalklamm gorge, and diagonally opposite the Großes Höllental valley makes it a worthwhile destination for hikers and, above all, ambitious climbers.
