Artajona. Paths of the Kingdom

With the same ingenuity as their ancestors, the inhabitants of Artajona claim their reign in the MTB world for their extensive network of trails. Not in vain was the town for a time, between 1150 and 1158, an independent kingdom. Within its fabulous medieval walls have lived kings, queens, bishops and nobles, and outside it has carved an impressive network of trails for the enjoyment of all MTB enthusiasts.

Our route begins in the lower part of the town and, halfway, leads us to a modern building, the dam of Rtaona, built on the Canal de Navarra as a small inland sea. A little further on we come to another construction, this one very old, the dolmens of Artajona, located in the Portillo de Eneríz. It is in this part, the mountain range of Ibarbero, where the most legendary paths are found.

The route, of medium difficulty, offers a real delight for the senses, with fun trails full of flow.
