For years, this traditional festival in Lauscha/OT Ernstthal am Rennsteig has cultivated a special relationship with the moon. It is not for nothing that the people of Ernstthal are known as the “moon strikers”, as the story of the two Ernstthälers Arno and Fritz - whether truth or legend - proves.
As part of the festival, classic car enthusiasts meet up with their historic vehicles for the low mountain tour, which is all about enjoying the scenic region. The criteria for scoring points include unknown drive-through controls and small special stages.
