Strassen is located in the Hochpustertal valley, near the Italian border, close to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Three Peaks) and Lake Missurina. Venice is just a three-hour drive away! Our region is characterized by unique hiking trails, which we would be happy to guide you on, or which you can easily explore using our in-house hiking map.

Strassen is situated on the Drava Valley Cycle Path, which leads all the way to Maribor (Marburg). From Lienz (25 km), our district capital, you can easily return to your accommodation by train.

In summer and winter, our lifts take you up to 2000 m altitude, and in the valley, you can relax in the heated outdoor pool in Thal. A guided llama trekking tour is a great experience for young and old alike.

The charm of our 17th-century country house, preserved through renovations, creates a truly special vacation atmosphere.
