Experience the adventure of the little eagle Horsti!
Treating nature and its wildlife with respect is a high priority in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. The Mitteregg nature experience trail is a fun way for young and old to learn important and interesting facts about the local flora and fauna.
Visitors help the little eagle Horsti to grow up and experience an adventure with a variety of attractions: Water wheels, water games, gold panning, slide, wooden bowling alley, sound game, photo point, quiz game and - the highlight - the longest self-built wooden bowling alley in Tyrol. Afterwards you can pick up a sticker at the "Alpengasthaus Jausenstation Wechner"!
The trail is accessible free of charge every day from the end of May to the end of October. The start is in Mitteregg at the "Alpengasthaus Jausenstation Wechner" and the walking time is around 30 minutes (each way). The entire trail is also suitable for baby carriages. There is also a refreshment stop in the village (closed on Mondays).
Parking spaces in Mitteregg are limited, every Tuesday in July and August you can take the Stadlbräu Express train from Berwang to the end of the world - to Mitteregg.
Walking is at your own risk, parents are liable for their children!
