The Annaberger Haus is situated at an altitude of 1,377 metres on the Tirolerkogel and is a popular destination for walkers, families, pilgrims and anyone who fancies spending a few hours in the mountains. It is only a few minutes’ walk from the summit cross on the Tirolerkogel to the hut.
Annaberger Haus on the Tirolerkogel
Up here, you’ll find a cosy dining room, our sun terrace and sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. The hut’s kitchen serves hot meals, drinks and, depending on the daily menu, other light bites to keep you going.
If you’d like to stay a little longer, you can also spend the night at the Annaberger Haus. Double rooms and shared rooms are available for this purpose. Overnight stays for groups are also possible by prior arrangement.
The Annaberger Haus is accessible only on foot. For us, the walk up is part of the experience – reaching the top, stopping for a bite to eat, sitting together and enjoying the Tirolerkogel.
The Tirolerkogel is also accessible on foot in winter. However, depending on snow and weather conditions, conditions along the route can change significantly. It is therefore advisable to check the current weather and snow conditions before setting off on a hike.
The Annaberger Haus’s opening hours vary depending on the season. The current opening days and further information on accommodation, prices and how to get there can be found on our website.
