“Why are you sending me to hell...?” was the title of a hugely successful song by Wolfgang Petry.
We won't send you to hell, but we will send you down the newly created Höllental Run at the Schöneben ski area. This spectacular slope offers broad pistes and breathtaking views of Lake Resia and its world-famous church tower rising from the lake.
The ski connection between the Haideralm and Schöneben ski areas was established through two 10-passenger gondola lifts and officially opened for the 2018/2019 winter season. The St. Valentin – Schöneben gondola starts in St. Valentin next to the existing valley station of the Haideralm lift and reaches the mountain station via an intermediate stop. From there, the second gondola, Höllental, continues to the highest point of the ski area at the Jochbahn slopes.
At the heart of the Schöneben-Haideralm ski resort lies the Schöneben Snowpark, where everything revolves around freestyle, tricks, and plenty of airtime. The varied setup between the Jochbahn and Fraitenbahn lifts has received multiple awards and is considered one of South Tyrol’s best-kept secrets. The snowpark features a beginner area, a Medium Kicker Line, and a Pro Line, offering ideal conditions for riders of all skill levels.
