Station de ski Innsbruck Igls / Patscherkofel

The Patscherkofel, „Innsbruck´s Home Mountain“ rises 1.390 m above the city and provides the perfect environment for skiing, snowboarding and winter sports of all kinds. The resort offers family friendly slopes and challenging runs for experienced sports enthusiasts.
19 km of perfectly primed slopes entice you with best conditions on sun-drenched and varied terrain. Special highlights are the 7,5 km descent from the mountain station of the Patscherkofelbahn down to the valley station. Also the World Cup slope as section of the Olympic downhill is a real treat. During your visit you will find a breathtaking panorama overlooking Innsbruck, Wipptal valley, Inn-valley, Stubaital valley as well as the surrounding mountain ranges.

Kofele's Children Park
At the valley Station is the Kofele's Children Park situated. The magic carpet is perfect for children to learn skiing with the guidance of the ski school on site. For beginners and advanced, three training lifts in different heights are available.

Snow Park
The snowpark was newly designed and offers beginners and advanced numerous obstacles, jumps and mini boxes.

Olympia at Patscherkofel
Hardly anywhere was written as much ski sport history as at the slopes of Patscherkofel. Still remembered are the Olympic runs from 1964 and 1976, with the legendary run from Franz Klammer. Also the greatest team success of Weltcup History during the Super-G season 1998/99 with 9 man of the ÖSV-team at the top, first of all Hermann Maier.
In 2012 the Patscherkofel was the venue for the alpine competitions of the 1st Youth Olympic Winter Games.

With the Patscherkofelbahn to the Home Mountain of Innsbruck.
We will transport 2000 persons from the valley to the middle and to the mountain station at 1965 m in 10 minutes. Wlan free of charge in the cable car.

Restaurants at Patscherkofel:
Die Gipfelstube has been renovated and includes a spacious terrace expanded. Visit our other restaurants "Das Kofel" in the mountain station or "Das Hausberg" in the valley station too and the quaint mountain inns.

The snowpark was newly designed and offers beginners and advanced numerous obstacles, jumps and mini boxes.

Kofele children's park - 15.000 m² right by the botom lift station and next to the sun therrace of "Das Hausberg" restaurant.

The Patscherkofel attracts many skiers as well as tourers, for whom new changing facilities were created in the mountain station and in the Gipfelstube and signed trails from the valley station of the Patscherkofelbahn to the summit alongside the piste. On Thursdays, the pistes are open for ski tourers until 10 pm and until 5.00 pm the other days. Enjoy the breathtaking panorama from the highest point of Innsbruck's Home Mountain.

Evening skiing every Tue and Thu from 4.00 to 6.30 pm at the Heiligwasserwiese.

There will be a slope from the familiy slope to the Alpengasthof Heilig Wasser.

Seminar experiance with a view
The seminar and workshop rooms 1.390 m above the city. With space for up to 30 people, individual seating and high-quality regional catering on request from the "Das Kofel" restaurant.
