KA8 | Salzach Panorama Tour

This rather short and not very demanding circular tour is not challenging thanks to fewer metres in altitude, but offers plenty of opportunity to admire the surrounding landscape. From the starting point at the information office in Kaprun, the route runs in a northerly direction to the resting area for cyclists, where it continues on the car-free cycle track.  At the junction directly by the Salzach river, the route leads either to the right onto the extended network of cycle tracks towards Bruck or Zell am See; the original KA8 Salzach Panorama Tour continues along the Salzach river to the left. The trail leads in a large loop against the course of the river on gravel back towards Kaprun. The last few metres back to the starting point are on a road with little traffic, but families can here switch to a footpath and cycle track.
