From Porschdorf through the Polenz Valley to Rathen

The tour starts at the Porschdorf bus stop, from where you first walk along the road to the left until you reach the Polenztal valley. Follow the red dot through the valley to the Waltersdorfer Mühle mill and then to the Polenztalschänke tavern.

From the Hocksteinschänke, follow the green line up the Hockstein through the Wolfsschlucht gorge. At the lower end of the staircase, it is worth taking a look around the corner into the Hockstein Cave - a stratified joint cave below the rock massif.

Once at the top of the Hockstein, after enjoying the views, continue following the green line in the direction of Amselsee - Kurort Rathen.

Once in Rathen, cross the Elbe by ferry and keep to the right until you reach the railway station, where the tour ends.
