The peaks of the Dolomites, perfectly cultivated pastures, barns from the La Tène period and traditional farmhouses, called "Viles" in Ladin, are the elements that characterise this fascinating cultural and natural landscape.
In summer, the area blossoms like a huge botanical garden, with a rich alpine flora and dense woods. On foot, the attentive hiker can discover the many precious treasures of these mountains. La Val has been a member of the "European Hiking Villages" project since 2015, as the first certified hiking destination in South Tyrol.
