*Viniculture tradition

Königstetten looks back on a long wine-growing tradition. Monasteries and convents such as St. Florian, Göttweig, Schlägl and Herzogenburg maintained vineyards here, which are still preserved today. At present, the parish church with its Roman milestone, the main square with its Baroque fountain, the Passau farm (municipal office) and the school are the main features of the village. The wine-growing tradition is maintained by our winegrowers, who are happy to welcome you to their wine taverns for a pleasant stay with food and drink.
