The Winter destination Leitariegos is a small ski resort, located in the northwest of the province of León, more precisely in the Laciana Valley (Biosphere Reserve) on the border with Asturias. The slopes lie on the 2,002 m high summit Cueto Arbás, representing the first 2.000 m high peak of the Cantabrian Mountains from west to east.

The natural landscape surrounding of the ski resort is exceptional and offers many possibilities. The ski area has a small hotel at the base station and more than 1,000 hotel rooms within a radius of 35 kilometers.

It has its own ski school, where a varied program is offered from skiing, about snowboarding to snowshoeing.

During the winter season, many guests and fans are attracted by the beauty of the countryside to enjoy the winter and winter sports in a friendly, family atmosphere.
