MIDSUMMER BONFIRE ON THE FEUERKOGEL
The summer solstice can be experienced in spectacular fashion on the Feuerkogel on 20 June 2026. A fantastic programme of events awaits you, with the torchlight walk to the midsummer bonfire as the highlight!
SUMMER HOLIDAY SPECIAL 2026!
Children’s adventure during the summer holidays: Children aged 6 to 15 (born between 2009 and 2018) can travel for free on the Feuerkogel cable car every Wednesday during the Upper Austrian summer holidays (15 July – 9 September 2026)*
Every Wednesday from 1 July to 9 September 2026. Meeting point and start at 10:00 am at the Feuerkogel cable car mountain station
GUIDED LEGEND HIKE
On 22 July, 5 August and 12 August 2026, a guided legends walk will take place on the Feuerkogel. During the walk, you can enjoy the fantastic panoramic views of the Salzkammergut’s mountains and lakes whilst learning all about the region’s legends.
*Valid only when accompanied by an adult; for two or more children, proof of family relationship is required. Not valid for children’s groups of any kind.
