Description: Idyllic alpine atmosphere at the foot of the "Faulkogel". In Flachauwinkl you will find one of the most beautiful alpine areas of the Salzburger Land. Along a crystal-clear mountain river on a not too steep path, you will reach the beautiful alpine huts through a charming landscape of woods and meadows.

Description d'itineraire: Turn off at Marbachalm in Flachauwinkl - trail no. 730 - Vordere Marbachalm - Hintere Marbachalm - return along the same route.
Tip: From the Hintere Marbachalm, hikes are possible to the Ursprungalm (not managed) and on to the Gasthof plateau with the Neukarsee (2065 m), the Faulkogel (2654 m) and the Mosermandl (2680m).

Conseils: The Marbachtal is a popular meeting place to have a cosy picnic around the clear mountain stream. Especially on hot days, the trees provide soothing shade and the stream provides the necessary cooling.
