Obergurgl-Hochgurgl boast a great variety of easy high-altitude walks and challenging high alpine treks for all ages and preferences. Among the most beautiful routes are the ancient cross-border trails to neighboring South Tyrol. Those interested in really outstanding tours are strongly recommended to join the local guides of the Obergurgl High Alpine School. Children programm is offered as well.
NEW from summer 2016: TOP MOUNTAIN CROSSPOINT & TOP MOUNTAIN MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM
The unrivaled Top Mountain Crosspoint nestles in the foothills of the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Pass Road at 2.175 m altitude. The multifunctional building comprises a Motorcycle Museum, the base station of the new Kirchenkar Mountain Gondola (only in winter open), the Road toll Station and a top modern restaurant with table service.
More than 170 classic motorbikes and oustanding cars plus their lively history are shown on a 2.600 m² exhibition area. Daily open.
