Water sports - Lake Erlauf

4km North-East of Mariazell, 827m above sea level, Lake Erlauf is located. It is part of the boarder of Styria and Lower Austria.

On a sunny summer day, bathing in Lake Erlauf can be a pleasure! There is also a boat renting and the possibility for diving, surfing and fishing.

Facts & figures:
Lake Erlauf is 1.5km long, has a width of 500 meters and partly a depth of 38 meters. It contains approx. 12.400.000 m³ of water and is surrounded by 8.000 square meters of sand beach and 5.000 square meters of lawn for sunbathing. Its water has drinking quality and impresses with its clearness (visibility rage up to 20 meters depths).
