Situated in the Nature Park Kaunergrat, the Pitzal offers in summer and autumn countless possibilities to discover the nature. Sport and nature enthusiastics can look forward to varied activities in the mountains of Pitztal. In the family-friendly hiking area Hochzeiger are waiting more than 100 km of hiking trails, nice-smelling stone pine forests and an impressive overview to the Zugspitze. To recommend is a tour to the conservation area “Riegetal”, where you will find natural Terrain and sparkling mountain lakes. The Pitztal Glacier is an ideal start for a tour to the Mittagskogel.
Up there you will have a breathtaking view over the Pitztal and especially to the Rifflsee, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Alps. In the Nature Park Kaunergrat every guest will find his personal part of untouched nature.
The key of all activities is the Glacier-Park-Card: This card includes the use of the mountain railways in Pitztal, Imst and Kaunertal, the glacier street, the free entry to different cultural partners and special discounts from the bonus-partners. The Glacier-Park-Card is available at the mountain railways and in all tourism offices.
Summer-program Aktiv-Calender 2012:
from 11th June to 24th October 2012 guests have the possibility to take part at activities with trained guides. Guided hiking tours, mountain bike tours as well as the summer program from the Nature Park Kaunergrat is included in the Pitztal Leisure Pass.
Events as the “Musical Pasture tour”, the “Festival at the Mountain” or the “Capricorn – Hiking Week” make this program to a special offer for our guests.
Pitzi`s Kinderclub offers in the summer free child care from Monday to Friday and gives the adults time for themselves- and the Kids have the possibility to make adventure tours with other children.
