Take the motorway route (A2/S6) from Vienna to Bruck/Mur! If you’re travelling from Vienna, use the Spital am Semmering OST exit, while from Bruck, use the Spital am Semmering WEST exit.
The S1 south-west bypass for the A23 ring road was completed in April 2006, which means that those approaching from the east no longer have to use the ring road, which was prone to heavy traffic jams.
