'Mike and Dave are shapers on the Kitzsteinhorn and they definitely rode their park a lot this season! If you are still motivated to do some really long parklaps full of creative rails, tubes, pipes and big jumps the Snowpark up at the glacier is defintely the right option for you. Sven Thorgren (SWE) and Celia Petrig (SUI) won the 2012 Protest World Rookie Finals in Ischgl, Austria, and were crowned WSF 2012 World Rookie Champions with a special prize giving ceremony including live music and special guests.

After 3 interesting online missions, the 3 winning crews met in Gerlos (AUT) to fulfill the final mission. They got supported by pro riders like e.g. Caja Schöpf (GER) and pro photographers like Klaus Polzer (GER). From 29th March to 1st April the 3 winning crews from the online missions during the season came together in Gerlos to fulfill the final mission. The crews got supported by pro riders like Olivier Gittler, Aline Bock or Chris "CK" Kröll, and pro photographers like Lorenz Holder or Jason Horton. The Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn became the centre of spectacular tricks and sick action again: Within the scope of a dazzling shooting the Nitro Road Warriors examined the park thoroughly and tested the park by hook or by crook. The pro team around Basti Rittig and Michael Macho pushed it to a maximum with a stunningly wide range of tricks and proved that the Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn offers perfectly shaped obstacles in spite of the proliferating spring!

Herby Thaler, Hias Weissenbacher and Clemens Schattschneider are Vans Riders who definitely represent austrias next generation! We met up with them during the training day of the Vans Waengl Taengl 2012. It seems that the trainig was worth it as Hias and Clemens placed second in the main competition. Congrats!

The 10th Anniversary of the Vans Wängl Tängl Presented by G-Shock in Mayrhofen, Austria showcased two days of some of the finest transition skateboarding known to man. The crew final took the form of a unique format two man team style session where skaters hit the ramp in pairs. In the end, the final 4 teams split the prize money evenly, with each skater taking home 800 Euro. The Hobnobs: Manhead & Andy Scott, Team ZWIMI: Micky Iglesias and Phil Zwijsen, The Bats: Martino Cattaneo and Kevin Blaser, The Dutchies: Nassim Guammez & Daan. Tobias & Max Grunwald were the youngest skaters to enter, at age 10 & 12 and they won the Facebook Competition, taking home 400 euro each.
