Restaurant Restaurant Schmitte The „Schmitte“, a elegant restaurant in the Romantik Hotel Schweizerhof. Its alpine charm, fine furnishings and quaint architecture provide a setting worthy of the tasteful food and service. A Zithar-player creates a lovely background atmosphere. Dine in the beautiful dining room or the delightful garden. The Chef, Alexander Dissauer crates a unique combination of Swiss and alpine cuisine. The Schmitte is also proud of its excellent wine cellar. Restaurant Alpterrassen Before the impressing window blind of the Eiger and with view on our maintained hotel garden our house guests enjoy the varied 6-course evening menu of our chef. Bar and Lounge The meeting place for our guests at nearly each time of day. Our bar crew serves at our hotel bar and in the lounge at the fire-place or in the library a cup of coffee or tea, cocktails or very fine Sherry, Port wine or a fiery Grappa before and after dinner. Wellness & Fitness Indoor Pool Through the large windows, our spa guests can enjoy a fascinating panorama of the Eiger Northface. The pool is open from 7:30 - 22:00 Finnish sauna The finnish sauna is a substantial part of finnish culture. There are five million inhabitants and over two million saunas in Finland - an average of one per household. For Finnish people the sauna is a place for easing with friends and family, and a place for physical and mental relaxation. Cool down in the Ice grotto A fountain filled with crystals of pure ice. The ice flakes give a pleasant tingling feeling while cooling down after a sauna or steam bath; they also stimulate the circulation, strengthen the immune system and tone the skin. Special Showers Seven special showers refresh your body between the various sauna phases with tropical rain, thunder showers or spray. Massage Total Relaxation for Body and Soul Massages work through touch and have a relaxing effect on body, soul and spirit. They are the ideal complement to vitalizing saunas and steam baths and phases of meditative relaxation. Apart from many conventional techniques, we also offer a range of different massages and therapies with specific effects. Bio Sauna The bio sauna is where the temperature is increased artificially to 55°C. The immune system is activated and strengthened and the body purified and detoxified Herbal Steam Bath Roman steam and inhalation bath at 55°C with stove and aromatic herbal steam. Various aromatic essences have a revitalising effect and increase the feeling of wellbeing. Conferences You're planning an event with up to 140 persons?
